(Interspecific hybrid)

Not hardy in Quebec* (requires winter protection)

GREEN SEEDLESS** TABLE GRAPE

  • Green, elliptical, medium to large sized and seedless berries
  • Berries have a mild fruity flavor
  • Thin adherent skinned (non slipskin) berries, with a moderately crisp texture
  • Medium to large clusters moderately well filled triangular and winged
  • Hardy to zone 6a, up to approximately -23°C (-10°F)
  • Maturité: semi-tardif, fin septembre en zone 4b. Nécessite environ 1200 DJC 10°C (Degrés-Jours de Croissance base 10°C) –ou 2160 DJC base 50°F- to mature fruit
  • Vigorous vine
  • Ideal for fresh eating, its delicate taste is not suited to making jelly, juice or wine
  • Self-pollinating

** PLEASE NOTE: Although considered a «seedless» variety, seeds might occasionally appear some years, when the vine has been “stressed”.

As stated by Cornell University: «The degree of seedlessness varies greatly among seedless grape varieties. Most seedless grapes have vestigial seed traces that range in size from very small to large and noticeable. Seed traces in berries of the same variety may vary greatly in size and in the hardness of their seed coats. Climate is also known to affect seed trace size. Occasionally the seed traces in some seedless grapes are large enough to be bothersome to consumers.»

*WARNING! This grape variety is not hardy in Quebec. Il est impératif de protéger la vigne en hiver dans les régions dont la zone de rusticité est inférieure à 6a (Ex: 6a, 5b, 5a, 4b, 4a, 3b etc… Couvrir avec du géotextile…).

No guarantee offered on cultivars that are not hardy in Quebec.
