• Small, dark blue, round berries, very juicy and sweet with seeds
• Non slipskin berries
• Sweet and tangy flavor with no trace of tartness
• Small and compact clusters
• Extremely hardy, down to zone 3 (possibly 2b) Probably the hardiest grape variety currently existing
• Ripening period: very early, late August in zone 4b. Requires approximately 900 CDD 10°C (Celsius Degree Days base 10°C) — or 1620 FDD base 50°F — to reach maturity
• Very vigorous and productive vine
• Ideal for fresh eating, make juice or jellies and jams
• Self-pollinating
